The joint Burlington Baptist Church (BBC)/ MacNeill Baptist Church (MBC) Ad Hoc Committee has been meeting weekly to work on all the details of the application and the whole process of sponsorship.

Finances:
To date, MacNeill’s financial pledges amount to $23000.  In addition, friends and neighbours have been joining us with generous donations of money.  BBC has pledged $5000.  Our goal is to raise $30,000.  We hope to have all pledged donations received by today (Dec 13 2015) or as soon as possible.  Our treasurer has opened a dedicated bank account to deposit all financial gifts for this refugee sponsorship project.

Pledges in Time/Action:
There is a myriad of jobs to do.  Please take a look at the “sign-up” poster-board and figure out how you can help.  Teams of two or three are welcome to share the load.

Pledges of Furnishings etc:
We request that you let the committee know what gently used materials/furnishings etc. you might have to help set up the household.  We have no storage space at present so would ask that you keep things at your house until they are needed, if this is possible.

Housing:
This is one of our biggest challenges.  Please let the committee know if you have any leads.
