Blue Christmas
MacNeill is hosting a Blue Christmas worship service for our partnering churches in Westdale.  If you wish to worship in a peaceful time of grief in the midst of this time of Christmas celebration, please consider attending our Blue Christmas worship service on Wednesday, December 17 at 7 p.m.   It will be a quiet meditative worship.  If you know of people who would appreciate this short worship in grief, please invite them. All are welcome.

 Communion Benevolent Fund
This is a reminder that the benevolent offering is collected and presented each Communion Sunday.  We no longer have special blue envelopes for this.  Traditionally this fund is available to support members who have special needs.  The direction of these funds is generally confidential.   You are invited to give to this fund, by designating your donation as for MacNeill’s Benevolent Fund.

Special December Benevolent Fund
Each December Communion offering is designated for the CBOQ Fellowship Fund of the CBOQ.  The focus of the Fellowship Fund is to aid pastors and their families who are facing financial difficulties as follows:- a) contributing to payment for medical supplies and equipment (e.g.: hearing aids) b) giving small gifts to retired pastors, widows, students, and retired missionaries as thanks for faithful service c) assisting pastors and students in attending events that allow them to build their skills in ministry.  Individual congregations are invited to support one or all of these categories. MacNeill will request that the money be used for 1) medical supplies and equipment.  Please consider giving a gift to the Fellowship Fund through your December Communion Offering.
