Palm and Passion Sunday

As Palm Trees Wave

As palm trees wave in gentle breeze

I choose this pathway to receive

A blessing as I make my way

To start and end each blessed day

This pathway I have walked before

Part of my journey to restore

As given gifts I’ve overlooked

Fulfilling schedules i have booked

Sometimes distracted as I walk

From beauty, never taking stock

Such elegance life’s paths display

Distractions take my sight away

So grounded I must better be

To notice what’s surrounding me

I stand a while to take it in

Returning to this place again.
