Lenten Planning Team: Even though the Christmas season still lingers, Easter will soon be here – it’s quite early this year. To shape and plan our observance of Lent (Feb 22 is Ash Wednesday) and celebration of Easter (April 8), we need to assemble a team comprised of storytellers, thinkers, “crafty” people and any others who may be interested. We’ll meet for three sessions of creative discussion, Saturday mornings, Feb 11, 18, and 25, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. in the Parlour with a light breakfast provided. If you’re interested or need more details, please contact Gord Adnams.
Wesley Urban Ministries:. The food hamper will continue to be in the narthex to collect the donations, as the need is ongoing. As food is collected, the hamper will be brought forward with our offerings on Sunday mornings. Food items most needed are listed on the Outreach
Flowers & Decorating Committee “the F & D's” The following people have volunteered for this committee: Monica Knott, Beverly Leslie, Glenys Magill and Sonia Rogers.
We are aware that many in the congregation like to donate a floral arrangement in celebration or memorial for loved ones. We have posted a calendar in the parlour so that you can note the date and we can then be aware of upcoming contributions for the sanctuary. If you could let us know in advance as to the details we will arrange an announcement in the bulletin. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact one of the F & D members.
E-Mails If you would like to be put on the MacNeill’s e-mail list, please e-mail Beverly Leslie at bleslie1@cogeco.ca.
